Challenge Yourself to make a Difference
Many people assist RifCom by making a welcome donation or becoming a Friend of RifCom (via our website www.rifcom.org) but if you want to witness the place where RifCom works, participate in a unique event and gain a life-enhancing experience all at the same time, then we invite you to sign up now for the RifCom Charity Challenge Event in May 2010 .
You may have already experienced or heard of the previous Charity Challenge Events we have organised from Gibraltar over the last four years and which involved raising sponsorship to trek over mountains while experiencing some of the conditions which the Rif people live daily. This year’s Challenge will capture the essence of those previous events by offering its adventuring participants an even more challenging experience which will take them from the heart of Gibraltar to the heart of the Rif over four full, challenging, competitive and exhilarating days (returning home on the fifth day).
No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference!
The proposed detailed itinerary is attached but do please note that planning ahead can be challenging in Morocco and there are many variables such as the weather, local politics and size of the group, so while we will do our best to keep to the itinerary, it is subject to change.
To take part in this challenge you will need to pay a registration fee of £350 (in one or two instalments) and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship target of £600 before the Event.
You may join the Challenge as an individual or as part of a team which could be a corporate team or just a group of friends and/or family.

If you are satisfied and in agreement with all the information, please forward your completed registration and medical forms together with the fundraiser agreement and your registration fee (please make cheques payable to RifCom) to PO Box 575, Gibraltar. Once your registration has been processed you will receive further details on the event and receive regular updates on your fellow participants’ fundraising events.
